Social dialogue and negotiation skills training to take place next week

Do you see negotiating as being about: A/ A fair and equal transaction? B/ Compromising? C/ Making a joint decision in which you get some of what you want and they get some of what they want?

In order to help employers’ negotiators to deliver their interest more efficiently, a training workshop on social dialogue and negotiation skills will be organized in Turin from 16 to 19 February 2009.

This workshop includes one training day on social dialogue (what are the benefits and the risks, review of present situation and development perspectives etc.) and a three-day in depth negotiation skills training.

Next week’s edition of the course is open to 7 Asiatic employer organizations and their counterparts on the trade union side. The course is being organized within the framework of the Social Dialogue programme funded by the Norwegian Government (more information here).

For more information on the course, you can check the agenda here and/or consult our training catalogue here
